NTPC Rihand organised a State-level painting competition as an initiative of Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency on December 03. The competition provided huge opportunity for children of State to participate and paint their vision of an energy-efficient world. The event was held at NTPC Rihand’s St. Joesph School, DAV Public School and Kendriya Vidyalaya.

The painting competition was conducted under the National Campaign on Energy Conservation, launched by the Ministry of Power, to promote energy conservation in the country. With ‘Cleaner Planet’ and ‘Energy Efficient India’ as the central themes, the competition aimed to make the students aware about the need for conserving energy.
